A huge thank you to all those who contributed to the 2 hour live broadcast of the Adventure Show on BBC Scotland from Pinkston Watersports last Friday.

There was Canoe Polo, Wild Water Racing, Freestyle and footage from the Moriston Enduro as well as a special feature on Ed Smith and why he loves white water kayaking. Presenter Lauren McCallum the variety of craft available and Dougie Vipond interviewed participants and competitors as well as Jon Schofield, SCA Head of Performance & Pathways and Stuart Smith, SCA CEO.
Patrick Winterton commentated during the show and competed against Laura Milne in a Wild Water Racing Sprint contest. He also had a go at freestyle kayaking on the white water course, aided by Ed Smith. Kevin McHugh joined the commentary team after recently commentating at the World Cup Slalom at Lee Valley.

Thanks to Pinkston Watersports for hosting us and thanks too to the very many people who took part and contributed including Chris and Ken Baillie for bringing and operating the race timing equipment.
