Pootle on tranquil waters or whizz down heart thumping rapids; whatever your idea of relaxation is, make sure you take time to do it this Go Paddling Week.
The plan for Go Paddling Week
Running from 25th May to 2nd June, Go Paddling Week 2019 is the perfect opportunity for paddlers old and new to take to the water and be part of the biggest paddling event in the UK.
Whether you have never been in a boat before or you love to get out and paddle regularly, Go Paddling Week has something for you.
With the world an increasingly busy and fast paced place we all need to take time out and enjoy the moment. Go Paddling Week 2019 is about taking time to do something you enjoy.
Stepping away from the usual routine of life and discovering all the amazing things paddling has to offer.
We want to get 10,000 of you enjoying time on the water throughout the week.
Try paddling for the first time at your local club or centre, sharpen up your skills with a coach, or head off on an independent adventure.
Clubs, centres and coaches around the country will be putting on activities. They can help you get on the water for the first time or inprove your paddling skills.
You don’t have to take part in an organised activity to join in. If you’re already a paddler, just head out there and have some fun.
1. Go for a paddle with your mates
2. Take on a challenge
3. Introduce a new friend to paddling.
You will be able to let us know that you’ve helped towards our 10,000 people target by registering on the Go Paddling Week website.
