The weather was good with light winds and the big turnout made for an excellent regatta.
Our thanks go to Margaret & the team from Kirkcaldy CC for running this regatta.
The last race in Racing Week was held in near flat calm conditions which enabled fast racing all across the divisions.
With the final race week points calculated we had to abandon the camp site in favour of Callander to hold the prise giving.
Conditions were good on the Loch for the last marathon of the series.

Another big turnout producing great racing across all of the races in relatively benign conditions to the Dullatur straight.

With 60 paddlers on the water and conditions near perfect there was lots of action on the water to keep the time keepers busy.

The strong gusty wind forced the organisers to amend the course for the longer events. The competition was very strong at all distances and we look forward to the next event on Tuesday.

The Ness Marathon was the 2nd event of the Highland series took place of a revised course due to engineering works over the river.

This regatta was used for GB selection & was the Junior Sprint Championships and as mentioned elsewhere the Scottish paddlers came back with 39 medals. Robert Kerr from Strathclyde KR was promoted to Boys A. The full results can be found on the first link
