Alva WWR 26th September - Results
The 2015 Scottish series saw over 68 boats start the Alva race, providing the biggest wwr event in over a decade.
With faces old and new and a mix of abilities across the spectrum a fun yet highly competitive event was had.
The Official results for the September Nottingham Regatta have now been published along with the Promotions.
Congratulations to Finn Cadell (Linlithgow KR) on being promoted to Boys A & to Jack Brockway (Linlithgow KR) on being promoted to Boys C.
There was a great turnout of young lightning paddlers attending their first competition & Kinghorn Loch did not disappoint with good weather, enjoyable & very competitive racing.

The last of this season 10km’s was completed on a lovely evening on Linlithgow Loch by the Palace.
th 92 entries and 43 races spread over 6 hours producing 11 new course records and competitors joining us from Ireland & England the day was a great success.
This was a well-attended run in a beautiful location on a lovely day.

The 4th in the series of 10km races waas held in near perfect conditions on Linlithgow Loch and it was good to se a number of young paddlers from LKR attending their first competition.
Our thanks gor to Nan, Iain, Pete & John for their assistance on the night.
The final event of Scottish Racing Week was the 10km race on Loch Lubniag which was well attended in much better conditions than the previous day. The final points table reveals that the Long Course series was won by Finn Cadell (LGW). The short Couse series was won by Frazer Gormal (GLW).
