There was a further good turnout at the second sprint regatta of the season on Kinghorn Loch.
The stiff cross winds provide an interesting challenge on the 1000m course but assisted on the shorter distances.
Over the weekend of 20/21 June the first ever Canoe Slalom div 1 race took place at Pinkston.
There was a big turnout of young Lightning paddlers at this race on the canal in Glasgow which was also the Scottish Lightning Marathon Championships.
Congratulations to the following paddlers who were promoted at the Nottingham Sprint Regatta in June.
Summer has Arrived at Last and 18 paddlers turned out to paddle in grorious conditions on Linlithgow Loch in the seond race in the Summer Series.

Around 50 paddlers turned up at Linlithgow Loch for the first sprint regatta of the Scottish Sprint League this season and to enjoy the sunshine.
The dismal weather did not prevent some good racing on the canal at Auchenstarry.
