Strathallan Canoe Club Vacancy

Strathallan Canoe Club are in receipt of Direct Club Investment from sportscotland to assist with the costs of a part time coach to enable the club to develop and expand its activities.

Strathallan Canoe Club Receives DCI Funding

It is great news that Strathallan Canoe Club has become the 4th Canoe Club to achieve Direct Club Investment from sportscotland. Strathallan Canoe Club is a strong canoe club that wishes to grow and flourish, with its main interest lying with Canoe slalom.

R Dee (Aberdeenshire) works

As part of the Pearls in Peril LIFE+GB project they  will be carrying out instream works to remove boulder croys In the River Dee, starting on Monday 17th August.  As Sluie/Commonty NGR NO 6232 9615 the works will take 2-3 weeks, depending on weather.

Alva Sprint Wild Water Race

Following recent Scottish success and interest, The wildwater committee in conjunction with British Canoeing are running an introduction level wild water race at Alva Slalom Site, on Saturday 26th September.

No experience required and any boat type accepted.

Wild Water Racing Junior and U23 World Championships

Survey of Marine Recreation and Tourism

Marine Scotland is conducting its first national survey of recreation and tourism around the Scottish coast and seas. The survey is open until 31st October and all are encouraged to participate
