New Data Protection legislation

New Data Protection legislation, referred to as the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into effect from 25th May 2018 and the SCA has been preparing for its introduction. A briefing sheet has been prepared to explain the main changes arising from the new legislation and how it affects our members and the handling of their personal data. The SCA has a revised privacy notice setting out why and how your data is collected, stored, and processed.
