There are two areas of work taking place in Glen Orchy.
Firstly the Bailey bridge at the Eas Urchaidh waterfalls is currently being replaced so the main car park and forest road networks are all closed. Work to replace the bridge is taking place above the river however if paddlers attempt the waterfalls check in with the site manager first before passing at the heras fencing opposite the car park if possible to ensure its safe.
Secondly, tree felling is starting in an area close to the River Orchy's edge near the Bailey bridge. For paddlers who use the bank opposite the roadside for access, it is advised to avoid the water’s edge past the area marked in red. See Map here.
