The Royal West Boat Club (RWSABC) are about to commence their program of winter talks. They will be held at the RWSABC Boat Club at the west end of the Esplanade, Greenock.
As the RWSABC accepted the Scottish Canoeing Association's invitation to join the Club Impact Programme, it has been suggested that we open a number of the talks to kayakers from other clubs in the area - or any interested parties, as a means of promoting kayaking and water sports.

Tuesday 30th January - Don MacNeish - Community of Arran Seabed Trust (C.O.A.S.T.)
Thursday 15th February - Stewart Griffiths - VHF & Safety Equipment - Stuart works for Gael Force at Hillington, on the out skirts of Glasgow. Gael Force is a boating chandlery, but Stuart also is a qualified course provider in a number of disciplines. He may brings some equipment along on the night as well as carry out a number of demonstrations.

Thursday 22nd March - Caroline Baxter & Rufus Redman - Sharing the Clyde - Caroline and Rufus work for Peelport (ClydePort). Peelport control all shipping movements on the River Clyde as well as coordinating all marine activities. This should be a good opportunity understand their needs.
