Scottish Athletes Earn Podium Place at Wild Water World Championships

From Scotland we had seven athletes competing at the 2018 ICF Wildwater World Championships in Muotathal, Switzerland.

Rachel Houston finished 12th in the Canadian Singles Women's C1 Classic. Louise Revell and Rachel earned 5th place in the Women's C2 Classic and a fantastic silver medal in the Women's C2 unofficial event. 

Victoria Murray, Laura Milne and Lydia Oxtoby were 7th in the team sprint, whilst Nicky Cresser, Robert Jefferies, Jacob Holmes earned tenth place in the men’s team sprint.

The Women's K1 Cassic saw all of the Scottish competitors: Victoria, Louise and Laura, finish inside the top 30. 

In the Men's K1 classic Jacob Holmes finished 47th with Fraser Gormal claimed 51st place. In the Canadian single C1 Classic event Ryan Hunt fought his way to a 12th placed finish.
