British Canoeing AGM & EGM - Information for SCA Members

All SCA members who are British Canoeing voting members have been emailed the papers and information about the upoming British Canoeing AGM & EGM and the open letter from John Coyne, Chair of BC regarding proposals to the EGM.

River Arkaig: Obstruction at the Weir

There is a large tree jammed in the slot on the weir which could be troublesome, please take care. It'll likely be there for some time as we'll need some very low levels to attempt getting it out.

Grandtully Campsite Refurb Works 22/2-30/3

Work is currently underway to repair and replace the floor and ceiling in the Grandtully Campsite building. First the gents and then the ladies changing rooms and shower/loo area will be refurbished

Work is due to be complete by 30th March - prior to the Easter slalom events

Grandtully & Thistlebrig WWR & GB Training Event - 15-19th Feb

The training event and subsequent races saw excellent numbers giving our prospective international athletes for 2017 the chance to train on good quality water.

WWR Champs - Results!

We had a successful weekend wild water racing on the Tay. Saturday was the sprints at Grandtully-a British national ranking race.
And then the big race of the weekend: the Scottish Classic WWR Championships.

Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park: Camping Byelaws from 1st March

The new camping byelaws in Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park come into effect on 1st March. These byelaws mean informal camping is banned from certain zones within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park between 1st March and 30th September each year.
