We had a successful weekend wild water racing on the Tay. Saturday was the sprints at Grandtully-a British national ranking race.
And then the big race of the weekend: the Scottish Classic WWR Championships.

The new camping byelaws in Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park come into effect on 1st March. These byelaws mean informal camping is banned from certain zones within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park between 1st March and 30th September each year.
We are in luck - the canal is liquid so the WTT will go ahead today (Sunday 12 Feb) See you all at Park Farm 12:30 & Wrap up warm ;-)
British Canoeing has announced a brand new partnership with Cancer Research UK to support this year’s National Go Canoeing Week, and raise funds for the charity.
The road from the official put in to the River Yarrow has now been closed from about 2 miles before Yarrowford. Access to the river can still be easily gained from the bridge at the Road Closed signs which is the bridge before Yarrowford Bridge on the A708.
Unforunately the ever popular Uni Creek Race will not be running in 2017 due to a clash in dates with other events. It will however, be back next year, and dates announced as soon as they are confirmed.
The Scottish Canoe Association (SCA) provides the the following information in relation to the recent BBC Scotland item on PVG checks in sport.
This event has been relocated to avoid the drained canal in Linlithgow on Sunday 12 February.
