Temporary closure of section of Caledonian Canal until end April 2015

R Spey - tree lodged at Inshriach

There is a large tree blocking a section of the River Spey half way between Kincraig and Aviemore at Inshriach: this is a major hazard caused by the recent high water.  Attempts will be made when safe to remove it but paddlers should be aware of this in the meantime.

River Falloch - Construction Works

Construction works have recently commenced on the Glen Falloch Hydro Schemes lasting until October 2015. A section of the River Falloch will be affected by the works at Upper Falloch during this period.
