Aggressive Swan - Falkirk

Swan alert: Paddlers should be aware that there is an unusually aggressive male swan living, with his young in the Falkirk Wheel basin area and who appears to dislike canoes intensely.

Queen's Baton Relay

Paddlers from SCA Performance, Aberdeen Kayak Club, Breadalbane Canoe Club, Stirling & Falkirk Canoe Club and Perth Canoe Club who took part in the Queen's Baton Relay in Perth on Friday 4th July.

BCU Level 4 Programme Recruitment

Vehicle Access - Luncarty, River Tay

The same access point for vehicles has been used at Luncarty for over 50 years, formerly around the old mills, and latterly past the new housing estate, reaching the river down a narrow unmade road.


Level 2 Refresher Training

Over the next year the SCA will be hosting a number of Level 2 Refresher events across the country. The two day events are intended for anyone who has completed BCU UKCC Level 2 Training but not assessment.
