Firth of Clyde Guidance

The latest notice to mariners (No 05/15) regarding leisure craft on the clyde includes specific guidance on paddling - "Persons in charge of vessels less than 20m LOA are reminded that whilst navigating within the waters under the jurisdiction of Clydeport Operations Ltd, they shall not impede th


National Park Camping Restrictions

The Board of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park wish to restrict camping in the Park, specifically banning camping next to much of the Lochs. Details of their proposal can be seen at:


Polmadie Bridge - closed

Polmadie Bridge over the Clyde in Glasgow is now closed and the SCA has been informed that for safety reasons no craft are permitted to pass under the bridge

Paddler Survey - Mountain Weather Information Service

sportscotland, who oversee the current funding of the Mountain Weather Information Service in Scotland, are undertaking a review of the current publicly available provision of mountain weather forecast information for Scotland.


Mars Milk Play Fund

Here is an opportunity for Sports People, clubs and projects to apply for funding of between £300 and £1000 from Mars Milk Play Fund. This opportunity will last for 22weeks (5 Months) from 4th May, and can be used to help with travel costs, kit coaching or new equipment.  


Forth Canoe Club Coach Vacancy
