sportscotland Direct Club Investment for Breadalbane Canoe Club

Breadalbane Canoe Club SCIO (BCC) is to receive Direct Club Investment from sportscotland, to assist with the appointment of a Junior Talent Coach.


Loch Lomond Slipway closed 21 - 23rd August

Paddlers are advised that the  Memorial slipway at the south end of Loch Lomond will be closed from 8000 hours on 21st August until 1000 hours on 23rd August for the Great Scottish Swim.


Andy Jackson's parents complete sponsored cycle ride

Graeme and Kate Jackson have just completed their coast to coast ride - raising over £5k from sponsors for the adaptive ski chair for Disability Snowsport UK and the sea kayaks for Castle Semple.


Osprey Exclusion zone Loch Lomond

Paddlers are asked to note that a buffer zone is in place at the south eastern side of Inchcruin on Loch Lomond to protect nesting Ospreys.


Aggressive Swan - Falkirk

Swan alert: Paddlers should be aware that there is an unusually aggressive male swan living, with his young in the Falkirk Wheel basin area and who appears to dislike canoes intensely.

Paddlers from SCA Performance, Aberdeen Kayak Club, Breadalbane Canoe Club, Stirling & Falkirk Canoe Club and Perth Canoe Club who took part in the Queen's Baton Relay in Perth on Friday 4th July.
