SCA Committee Gathering

On the weekend of 10-11 November 2018, most of the individuals who have volunteered to be on SCA Committees and on the SCA Board were able to get together for a weekend of sharing, discussion and forward planning.


Union Canal, West of Linlithgow - Hazard

Scottish Canals are working on the canal banks to the west of Linlithgow and as a result they have installed stop gates across the canal to then de-water the section of canal between Woodcockdale (A706) to Prest


SportsAid Scotland Grant Applications 2018/2019

Every year, the SCA is invited to nominate 10 athletes across all our disciplines for the Scottish Sport Aid Grant Applications. 

Sportsaid Scotland looks at athletes that are most likely to represent Scotland at senior level, and to succeed on the national and international stage


Sprint and Marathon Prizegiving and ACM

Please come and join us to look back on 2018 and celebrate the success of paddlers young and old from across the country.

The Prizegiving will be preceded by the Annual Consultative Meetings for both Sprint and Marathon on the 3rd November.

British Canoeing has recently reviewed the Code of Conduct for Coaching Workforce.


Performance Programme Open Days

Tree Hazards - Angus South Esk

There is a tree down in a hazardous position on the Angus South Esk- about one mile down stream of Cortachy Castle. There are also other trees in the river further down please take care!
