Digital Wallet - Coming Soon

Aug 29, 2023

The SCA will be introducing Digital Membership cards this autumn.

We are pleased to be able to offer this thanks to recent updates by our membership system, JustGo.

Initially the digital wallet will be available for all individual members, allowing you to download your SCA digital membership card directly to your Apple or Google wallet. Soon, it will be available for coaching credentials and certain event entries too.

As well as reducing our use of paper / plastic products, digital membership cards will also help save costs in other areas including postage, meaning that more of your membership subscription will go into supporting the work we do on behalf of all our members.

The digital wallet membership cards will replace the current PDF membership card emailed to all members since 2020 and provides more versatile and up to date information including a QR code.

In 2020 we switched to an 'opt-in' approach to physical membership cards and only 10% of members now chose to opt-in for a physical membership card. Digital Wallet functionality will further support our quest to be a more sustainable and environment-focused organisation.

Stay tuned for more information on the new digital wallet which we will share in the lead up to the launch.
